Well guess what....back home in Indiana....the signs tell us so.....34 years ago we lived and worked in this area. Lots of fun times for 4 1/2 years. The rains have done major crop damage from Kankakee to Rochester, about 150 miles in length. No knee high by the Fourth around here, in fact in the areas that have drowned out, I saw planters at work replanting soybeans---hoping for a late frost and trying to make something of a crop....it is very flat here, with limited drainage. The new "lakes" dot the landscape, and this area does have irrigation, and obviously not this year!
I had forgotten how "backward" Indiana was....see picture of the stateline I crossed....you can't make this stuff up.
