At 6500 to 7000 feet it was 81 degrees today....91 in Salt Lake City.....when we left WDM it was 45.
Jackson's profile picture is overlooking the Flaming Gorge area on the Utah/Wyoming border. Feels like the Ozarks.....doesn't look like them with the snow in the background! On the way out of the Gorge, Jackson became part of his first roundup....he was dressed out and got to participate in a cattle drive. Approx 300 head of angus were being transported down our escape route, fully engulfing the car on all sides. After Jackson voiced his "indoor elitist" challenge from the back seat on the cattle out his side of the car, he looked up and we were totally surrounded by black angus....7-8 cowboys on horses with no where to go. His arthritic body shake took about 15 minutes to subside.....but he prevailed and has truly found himself in his new roll......You don't see this ---- in the Ozarks.....Sorry I took pictures of the cattle with the camera not I Pad....and had to cleanup the aftermath.
My parents and I loved the Flaming Gorge. So beautiful! Giddy up
