Day 14. Winslow to Chambers AZ. 82 miles. June 1st

  It was another nice day for biking. I was serenaded by semis for most of the day. I was still in the desert, so scenery was basically scrubbrush. That did make for an advantage though when I needed to sneak through a fence to get back on the highway after taking a frontage road to avoid a construction area.
  The highlight of today was our stop at the painted desert and petrified forest. Absolutely beautiful!
  On to New Mexico tomorrow.
